Artist Biography
Anna Kate is a photographer from Madison, WI and has been obsessed with taking photographs since she was a young child. After graduating from Bradley University, she has excelled as a concert photographer. Most recently working on projects with Dropped Among this Crowd Media, Anna has advanced her skills in editorial writing and design. In college, Anna enjoyed working with antique analog cameras that have stood the test of time. She also enjoys making work about time distortion, working with analog film cameras, and creating images with lots of color and vibrancy. Anna’s work has been featured in the Wheels O’ Time Museum in Peoria, IL in association with the Peoria Historical Society. Her most recent publications were in the Winter/Spring and Summer/Fall issues of Crooked Conversations by DATC Media and photos provided to Live for Live Nation from UMbowl X in Boston, MA. Anna is currently pursuing her own practice with local venues and smaller bands.
